| DETERGENTS DIVISION
PQP manufactures four kinds of detergent
with different content of active ingredient: 8%, 11%, 15%, and 18%.
When PQP began operations at its
detergent plant, one of our first priorities was the manufacture and
supply of private-brand detergents for Colombia’s most popular
supermarket chains such as ÉXITO, CADENALCO, MAKRO, OLIMPICA,
among others. We also focused on the manufacture and sale of industrial
detergents for different countries throughout Latin America and the
Caribbean, including Panama, Venezuela, St. Lucia, Puerto Rico, and
Ecuador.
PQP has made great progress with
the private-brand and industrial detergent segments. We continue making
efforts to position our own brands – 123 Ultraclean, WISE, and
SI! – in the Colombian market.
PQP´s marketing strategy
is centered on the excellent quality of our products and the competitive
pricing for the different market segments. Our own brands and the private-brand
detergents are available in industrial bulk packaging and retail packaging
in bags of different weights for countries throughout Latin America
such as Ecuador, Perú, Venezuela, Chile, Bolivia, Costa Rica,
Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, and others.
8% Active Ingredient Detergent
Characteristics:
Super-economic detergent with low foam level, lemon fragrance
and fragrance free, with green grains, and good washing level.
Product: SI! brand.
Presentations: 125g, 250g, 500g, 1000g, 3000g in bag, and 20kg
industrial bulk.
Strategy: SI! brand will be directly managed by PQP and promoted
through a wide range of mass-consumption channels.
Market Segmentation: This product is targeted for low income
segments.

Economical detergent with medium foam level, lemon fragrance,
with green and blue grains, and excellent washing level.
Product: WISE brand.

industrial bulk.
Strategy: WISE brand will be directly managed by PQP and promoted
through a wide range of mass-consumption channels.
Market Segmentation: This product is targeted for low income,
lower middle class, and middle class segments.
