PQP FERRIC SULPHATE

General: PQP Ferric Sulphate was developed for use in the water purification processes. The product works efficiently in waters with a pH between 4.0 – 11. PQP Ferric Sulphate is very effective in color removal, precipitating action with the iron and manganese contents present in the effluents.

Uses: PQP Ferric Sulphate is used as coagulant in industrial wastewaters, municipal waters, and residual sewage. In industry, the product is used in the manufacture of iron wire and stainless steel, as well as copper oxidation and surface cleaning. The product is also used as mordant in textile dyeing and leather stamping.

Technical Specifications:

Packaging and Storage: PQP Ferric Sulphate is packaged in 55 gallon plastic drums. The product is also delivered by tanker truck. It must be stored in fiberglass tanks reinforced with polyester.

Safety and Handling: PQP Ferric Sulphate must be handled as a product with acid characteristics. Handlers should avoid direct contact with the product. Basic safety equipment must be worn: rubber gloves; overalls; and safety goggles. Avoid direct contact with skin, eyes, and mucous membranes. In case of contact, flush immediately with water.
